Sensofil Eco Fill is a combination of camel hair (33%), natural Tencel (33%) fiber and recycled polyester microfiber (33%). This combination fuses the outstanding thermostatic properties of camel hair with the superior moisture management of Tencel; the polyester microfibers provide the necessary stability, and help transfer moisture to the outside.
The crimp of the camel hair fibers retains a large amount of air serving to insulate in both cold as well as warm conditions. In cooler climates, body heat is quickly and efficiently retained and reflected back towards the body, while in warmer regions the fibers help regulate body climate through high breathability. Camel hair comes from Northern Asia and is generally collected when the animal molts. This is then used to make the fibers.
Tencel has a unique fiber structure that unites the advantages of various other fibers. Tencel is soft as silk, strong as polyester, cool as linen, warm as wool and highly moisture transferring. The combination of smooth fiber surface with superior moisture absorption ensures a comfortable, positive skin climate; a prime advantage compared to other fibers for people with sensitive skin or allergies. Tencel is produced from natural wood pulp and is 100% biodegradable.
