Size Classifications and Torso Lenght

A large trekking backpack is often too long and protrudes above the shoulders (in extreme cases even over the head) of people with shorter backs. This constricts the head’s freedom of movement and is often very uncomfortable.

People with long backs often have difficulties adjusting the shoulder straps and torso length to fit appropriately when the backpack is too short.

This is why we offer the trekking backpacks in our Astra and Terkum series in two different sizes (I and II or II and III ).
